The SOFIA portal engine significantly shortens development time and thereby reduces investment costs. SOFIA enables the development of dynamic pages where information contained in the portal can be updated without any special qualifications in IT. Pages are maintained by an editor system that creates an integral part of the portal and that easily adjusts to any new additions or changes in content to the portal, including the determination of page structure, the management of menus and navigation systems used in the portal, as well as the management of administrator (editor) and visitor authorities. The editing system can be upgraded with functions suited to the customer's needs.
